Academy overview:

Leading financial services in a world where AI is reshaping work, decisions and organisational performance.

The AI Leadership Academy helps senior leaders answer one of the most important leadership questions of the next decade: how do we lead our organisation in a world of AI? Leaders will understand what is changing, use AI to strengthen their own leadership work, explore where value is emerging, and learn how to set direction, prioritise opportunities, govern adoption and create the operating conditions needed for AI to scale responsibly.

Delivered in partnership with CFTE, through a six-part online workshop series, attendees will move beyond AI awareness and develop the judgement, confidence and organisational perspective needed to lead in an AI-enabled world.

The Academy combines strategic briefings, AI-in-action demonstrations, leadership application exercises, use-case discussion, governance reflection and operating-model thinking. It is not intended to turn senior leaders into technologists. It is designed to help them make better leadership decisions about AI, use AI more effectively in their own work, and create the conditions for responsible adoption across their organisation.

The Academy also creates a senior peer forum. Participants will learn alongside other leaders facing comparable questions across financial services, giving them space to compare perspectives, pressure-test assumptions and discuss how institutions are responding to AI.

Learning outcomes:

  • Understand the AI shift: understand how AI is reshaping financial services, work, decisions, risk and organisational performance.
  • Strengthen AI leadership performance: learn how AI can make your own leadership work stronger: preparing faster, analysing more effectively, sharpening questions, improving communication, testing ideas and making better-informed decisions.
  • Set direction and prioritise opportunities: learn how to identify where AI can create value, decide what deserves attention and avoid scattered experimentation.
  • Govern adoption responsibly: examine the risks, controls, accountability and oversight questions required for safe and trusted AI adoption.
  • Create the operating conditions to scale: define the people, governance, platform, learning and execution conditions needed for AI to scale across your organisation.

What you will leave with:

  • Sharper AI judgement: understand what AI can do, where it is going and what questions you should ask as senior decision-makers.
  • Practical leadership experience: practise gained using AI to improve your own leadership work, helping you understand its value, limits and implications through experience rather than theory alone.
  • A path to activation: leave with a structured view of priority opportunities, governance questions and operating-model conditions needed to scale AI responsibly.
