After being hospitalised with Swine Flu in 2010 Andrew Heath was lucky to be alive - but the trauma of the experience had a profound effect on him. He met Piers Bishop, a psychotherapist and consultant who helped businesses and line managers identify and manage stressors to improve the employee experience.

Not long after being introduced, WeThrive was established. Combining Andrew's background as an SaaS CEO and Piers? knowledge of workplace psychology they sought to push beyond the norm, challenging themselves, their clients and their business to put people first.

With the fallout of the COVID-19 crisis WeThrive has become an essential tool to enable managers to keep their teams happy and productive. With a unique perspective of the challenges the previous Swine Flu pandemic created, WeThrive's platform was made completely free to anyone who needed help.

Sandy Locke joined Lombard International in April 2017 as the EVP, Global Director of Human Resources, and has over 20 years? experience in Financial Services. Lombard International has 16 offices across the globe with 40 nationalities and 30 native languages amongst the employee base.

At the start of her career, Sandy spent 10 years in the banking sector, working in Operations Management, Personal Trust Administration and Project Management, latterly supporting three mergers and acquisitions.  This included working with the senior leadership teams to determine workflow and human capital needs. 

In 2016, Sandy volunteered with Womentics on content development for their programming to showcase women as an untapped resource in the corporate arena. Their mission was to provide leadership development and connections for women in the workplace to strengthen the opportunities and economic earning potential for women.  She was also honoured to speak for them as well.
