Webinar overview:

With PS26/2 due to take effect in March 2027, firms are approaching incident reporting implementation from very different starting points, some already deep into interpretation and planning, others only beginning to consider what the policy will mean for them. That gap creates a real risk: firms that are behind may struggle to keep pace once formal requirements land, while those further ahead are already shaping the questions and approaches that will define good practice.

This webinar offers a chance to close that gap. Drawing on insights from recent workshops on PS26/2, we'll share the questions firms are asking, the challenges they're running into, and the approaches some are already taking to prepare. This isn't a sales pitch, it's a thought leadership session designed to give you a clearer, shared understanding of the incident reporting requirements within the regulation, so you can walk away knowing where you stand and what to prioritise next.

Learning outcomes:

  • a clear understanding of the key incident reporting requirements of PS26/2 and what they mean in practice ahead of March 2027
  • insight into the questions and challenges other firms are grappling with
  • awareness of the approaches early moving firms are already taking
  • a benchmark for where your own firm's understanding sits, so you're prepared for deeper discussion in future sessions.

Richard is an accomplished Account Management and Customer Success professional with over 15 years of experience helping financial services firms navigate complex regulatory and risk challenges within the SaaS GRC and IRM sectors. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with leading financial institutions - including Nationwide Building Society, Mortgage Advice Bureau, and Continental Reinsurance - translating technical risk and compliance requirements into practical, business-ready solutions.

During his six-year tenure at a previous firm, Richard held successive roles as Business Consultant, Head of Customer Success (Account Management), and Product & Technical Lead, where he built a reputation as a detail-orientated and consultative GRC expert. He has extensive experience mapping regulatory mandates such as Consumer Duty and Operational Resilience to practical product and process solutions, working directly with clients to develop action plans and risk mitigation strategies as new requirements come into force.

Richard has held qualifications in IRM Fundamentals of Risk Management and PRINCE2 (Practitioner), bringing a structured, delivery-focused approach to regulatory change.

With firms now approaching PS26/2 from markedly different starting points, Richard draws on his experience supporting institutions through previous waves of regulatory change to help attendees understand what good practice looks like ahead of the March 2027 deadline - and where their own firm may need to prioritise as implementation approaches.
