This course, in partnership with ACA Compliance Group, is designed to give real insight into how a modern Treasury department operates. An in-depth look at the structure, management and risks of a Treasury department and how they operate on a day-to-day basis. The course looks at the products used in risk management and how these risks are measured and controlled. The use of case studies allows us to look at how the Treasury funds, invests and hedges on behalf of the business and the crucial role that Treasury plays in any companies’ success.

Mark Doran is a Financial Markets Training Consultant with ACA Compliance Group. He has over 15 years’ experience as a trainer. His 4 years working in operations for a stockbroker and a Canadian Bank in London, and his 12 years working as a trader for HSBC London has given Mark a deep insight into financial markets.
He has given talks on derivatives at JP Morgan conferences and is Non-Executive Director of Cazenove Capital Asset Management Derivatives Oversight Committee.
Mark has trained for many of the large Asset Management and Banks across the World, and in doing so, has gained an in-depth insight in to current market trends.
Mark’s delivery is very interactive in nature. His ethos is to deliver training that not only makes very complicated topics relatively simple to understand, but also ensure that delegates can retain that knowledge after the course and in their everyday work.
If required, he employs case studies, exercises and simulations, such as trade and operations simulations. These can be computer and/or paper based depending on the objectives required.
