Join Mentors Me
Are you a business mentoring organisation looking to promote the services you offer to SMEs? As the UK’s online gateway for SMEs looking for business mentoring services, we welcome applications to join the MentorsMe website from mentoring organisations across the country.
First established by the British Bankers Association over ten years ago, the site is now run by its successor organisation UK Finance. While UK Finance does not take a view on the performance of individual mentoring organisations, it has established a verification process for those wishing to join the MentorsMe website. This is to ensure that those listed on the website are legitimate and professional organisations that, among other things, have suitably qualified mentors as well as policies and process in place to deal with data protection and safeguarding, for example.
UK Finance has instructed SFEDI, an awarding organisation specialising in business enterprise and business support, to manage this verification process on its behalf. As such, UK Finance does not see or review individual applications or supporting documentation from individual mentoring organisations. The application process is free for mentoring organisations, although there is an annual limit on the number that can join the website.
The application process for joining MentorsMe is intended to be simple and straightforward. Mentoring organisations looking to join are required to:
- fill out an application form,
- complete the self-certification checklist,
- undergo a short verification call with SFEDI, and,
- formally confirm acceptance of the terms and conditions for mentoring organisations once the application process is successful.

MentorsMe welcomes applications from organisations that provide a clear business mentoring service. Please ensure that your organisation is offering such a service, as we are currently unable to accommodate organisations that only offer adjacent services like business consultancy.
It is important that your organisation is able to respond to requests for mentoring services from a number of mentees. As such, please be aware that we are unable to accommodate applications from individual mentors.
