UK Finance is holding its third Ideathon, which will feature at our Digital Innovation Summit on 25 June. This is the third time we have held the Ideathon, and this year’s event is on account-to-account payments at point of sale (A2A@POS).
The Ideathon is an open competition (you do not have to be a UK Finance member to enter) where UK Finance is looking for ideas and innovations that could increase the adoption of A2A@POS, for example:
The Ideathon is a fantastic opportunity to test and showcase industry ideas and innovations on A2A@POS. All the finalists get to present their ideas live on stage at DIS, and the winner is decided by audience vote. All of our finalists find great value in the process of entering the competition, and taking part in the live final.
The 2025 Ideathon was won by NatWest with their ‘Pay as you park’ idea, and they said:
