At the most recent meeting of the UK Finance Board, it was agreed that Bob Wigley would be re-appointed as chair for a further term of three years up until February 2029.
Bob has been the chair since UK Finance’s inception and the Board recognised Bob’s significant contribution to the organisation’s success as an influential voice for the banking and finance industry.
Bob Wigley said:
I am very pleased to accept the Board’s offer of re-appointment as chair of UK Finance. It has been a privilege to serve the world-class finance and banking sector in the UK since we formed UK Finance. I look forward to continuing to deliver for our members, their customers and society.
