In a letter to the Payment Systems Regulator (PSR) the six banking groups directed by the PSR have committed to making technical changes to how the service works, so more payment service providers can offer Confirmation of Payee (CoP). This change is called the CoP-only role profile and the letter confirms that these changes will be made by the end of 2021.
