UK Finance has responded to the European Supervisory Authorities? consultation on ESG disclosures.

We agreed that currently reported ESG information is insufficiently comparable or reliable and are supportive in concept of the intention behind the ESAs? review.

However we raised concerns with the content and timelines in the consultation, including lack of linkage and divergence from the level, scope and implementation timeframes to other ESG regulatory developments.
