UK Finance has written in support of the overarching aims of the Call for Evidence to: provide a better experience for individuals and businesses; enable opportunities to further reduce the tax gap; and help build greater resilience and responsiveness to future crises. The response notes, however, that transition to a new tax administration framework may be complicated by the complexity of the UK tax regime.
