UK Finance responded to a consultation from the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures regarding the potential for forward-looking metrics, in particular ?implied temperature rise?, noting that while  such metrics hold promise their immaturity, complexity and inconsistent application across firms meant that they were not yet ready to be promoted for widespread adoption.
