The UK Finance online Economic Crime Academy in partnership with Synectics Solutions is a series of free educational training webinars designed to help educate SIRA and UK Finance members on the latest aspects of fraud – with some detailed recommendations as to how these issues can be dealt with, and the range of technology and techniques that should be considered to be best practice.

What is the Economic Crime Academy?

This ‘virtual’ Academy provides an exciting opportunity to learn more about the key fraud issues facing the financial services industry, as identified by the national SIRA fraud database. The four webinars will be of most interest to Economic Crime professionals working to prevent and detect the latest fraud typologies that are affecting our industry today.

The Academy will provide attendees with a broader perspective on applicants’ behaviours by accessing adverse intelligence from a variety of other SIRA members, enabling them to make decisions with greater confidence and speed. The provider of SIRA, Synectics Solutions, is the exclusive sponsor of the Academy.
