Andrew is the Chair of the UK T+1 Taskforce Technical Group, responsible for the delivery of the plan for delivering T+1 in the UK, as well as confirming the transition date in 2027. 

He is also a Senior advisor to a group of clients in the finance and fintech space in both UK and the European Union. 

Prior to working on the Taskforce, Andrew was 13 years at DTCC where he variously was Head of Government Relations for UK, EU and APAC as well as CEO of DTCC’s European Derivatives Trade Repository. 

In a career spanning 35 years, he has also worked for Swift SCRL where he ran Securities Strategy, Deutsche Bank as Head of Middle office for Fixed Income & Money Markets and Citibank where he was VP Customer Services for the European Clearing & Settlement Business. 

Andrew has an BSc in Engineering from University of Surrey and an MBA from Manchester Business School.

Charlie Geffen was appointed by the government to Chair the Accelerated Settlement Taskforce which published its report in March 2024. He is a Senior Adviser at the strategy consultancy Flint Global. He was previously the Senior Partner at international law firm Ashurst and Global Co-Chair of Private Equity at the US firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher where he also led the corporate practice in London. He has served on a number of corporate and third sector boards and is currently Chair of Council at the University of Surrey.

Ayesha Ghafoor is a Principal in the Capital Markets and Wholesale team at UK Finance. She represents UK Finance member views on secondary markets and post-trade policy with politicians and regulators at the international and national level, with a focus on the UK’s regulatory reform agenda. Prior to joining UK Finance, Ayesha worked at Barclays Investment Bank, including Government Relations, as well as roles within the Operations division. Ayesha graduated with an MA in International Studies and Diplomacy from SOAS and a BA in European Studies and Spanish from Royal Holloway, University of London.

Sachin Mohindra has over 19 years of extensive experience at Goldman Sachs, where he has held a variety of cross-product post-trade roles including securities settlement, client middle office and post-trade business development. Sachin currently works in the Client & Market Solutions team at Goldman Sachs with a focus on global post-trade efficiency and accelerated settlement. Sachin is the co-chair of the AFME Post-Trade Transaction, Clearing & Settlement Committee and AFME Market Settlement Efficiency Taskforce. Sachin is an active member of the UK HMT T+1 Taskforce & Technical Group and SIFMA US T+1 steering committee. At AFME he has co-authored the T+1 Settlement in Europe paper, lead the publication of the industry-wide TARGET2-Securities (T2S) and Partial Settlements recommendation papers. Sachin holds an Honours degree in Computer Science and Management from the University of Edinburgh.

Emma Johnson is an Executive Director and custody product manager within J.P. Morgan’s Corporate and Investment Bank in London. Sitting in the Securities Services division her core remit is European post trade securities market and regulatory advocacy, market infrastructure and industry developments.

Active in the securities post trade industry, Emma represents the firm in various industry committees including co-chairing the AFME Transaction Clearing & Settlement Committee, the AFME Market Settlement Efficiency Taskforce, the ECB Securities Group (SEG), and the AGC European Focus Committee. In addition, Emma co-leads the US Lessons Learned workstream within the UK HMT Accelerated Settlements Taskforce Technical Group and is a member of the EU T+1 Industry Taskforce.

Emma joined J.P. Morgan in January 2022 from Deutsche Bank, where she was the EMEA Head of Securities Services Market Advocacy. She previously held various positions within product and operational teams over her 20+ year career in securities post-trade.
