Principles for information sharing between mortgage intermediary firms and lenders
UK Finance, working with members and the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI), the Building Societies Association (BSA) and the Intermediary Mortgage Lenders Association (IMLA) has developed a voluntary priniples-based framework for sharing customer vulernability information between mortgage intermediary firms and lenders.
The principles are non-prescriptive and high level. They are intended as a broad framework that can help firms supporting customers to disclose thier needs and circumstances in a way which meets the FCA's expectations on "tell us once" and ensures that consumer duty outcomes for vulnerable customers are no different from any others.
