25 Churchill Place Canary Wharf, London E14 5EY United Kingdom
UK Finance and EY have worked together to assess the competitiveness of UK capital markets and to identify broad regulatory and non-regulatory factors that drive, and influence decisions made by market participants, including companies who wish to raise capital.
In addition to gathering numerical performance indicators on the international competitiveness of UK capital markets, we have gathered market insights from different participants of the capital markets ecosystem through tailored surveys and interviews to add a further layer of insight to our analysis.
Our leadership report will set out our findings and policy recommendations based on the analysis of the data and market insights.
We are seeking to publicise this work, with a view to ensuring regulators and government have the evidence (data) on which to base their decisions. This is a crucial time in the evolution of UK capital markets regulation. Crucially, we are keen to raise the role of capital markets in the real economy.
The agenda can be accessed via the Agenda tab. Timings are subject to change.
