UK Finance welcomes the opportunity to respond to this Consultation Paper, recognising the importance of the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) within the financial services ecosystem and the need for it to be put on a sustainable financial footing with its costs covered by the funding model. We also welcome the decision to freeze the FOS levy and case fee at the same level as last year.
