UK Finance has responded to the HM Treasury and HM Revenue & Customs 'VAT Treatment of Fund Management - Consultation'.

In the response we note that the proposed changes are unlikely to improve VAT certainty and will not, as drafted, support the UK as a location in which to establish investment managers and/or funds.
