UK Finance welcomed the opportunity to respond to the joint FCA-PRA consultation paper on Changes to Mortgage Data Reporting. Our response, which was developed in conjunction with our members, is broadly supportive of the proposals (subject to technical recommendations) but notes that these will be complex to implement and requests the FCA allows for a sufficient implementation period, particularly if there should be any crossover with final recommendations arising from its Mortgages Market Study.
